EVlution Nutrition Lean Mode Review

Overweight and obese individuals that have underlying heart conditions and diabetes have always had a tough time trying to get the right and safe fat burner. This is because, in such people, the use of stimulants is highly discouraged yet the majority of the fat burners in the market at the moment all contain stimulant compounds. These ingredients have quite a good and proven track record of burning down fat but their biggest challenge has always been the resulting side effects. It’s not just people with cardiovascular conditions that are unable to consume such supplements, some of us are don’t have these diseases but we are still reluctant from using products with stimulants just because we don’t want to spend endless hours dealing with headaches, jitters, and other similar problems. So, what’s the alternative for us? Well, Lean Mode from EVlution Nutrition claims to be the unique and perfect product made free from stimulants that will help us meet our weight goals.

What is Lean Mode?

Lean Mode is marketed as a natural fat burner manufactured by EVlution Nutrition that boasts of achieving weight loss without the use of any stimulants. A few of the ingredients used in this burner seem to be natural sources of caffeine but the manufacturer reassures all users that the product is safe and free from stimulants. The supplement is painted as an efficient fat burner, metabolism booster and appetite suppressant that achieves weight loss in a matter of days and that’s not all; the fat burner is also allegedly formulated with ingredients that will help in boosting your energy levels and enhancing your moods. From the manufacturer’s description of the product, one almost gets the impression that everything is thought out and sorted with Lean Mode but is it?

Lean Mode Ingredients

One of the best ways of figuring out whether any supplement including this product lives up to its claims is by checking out the ingredients used. The good news when looking at the list of compounds used in Lean Mode is that we are given the dosages of each ingredient. The bad news is that some of the compounds used are dozed well below the levels considered therapeutic which means that even if these chemicals are useful it is unlikely that users will enjoy their benefits due to the limited supply.

EVlution Nutrition Lean Mode is formulated with five primary ingredients:

  • Garcinia Cambogia

This herb contains Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) which is believed to be an exceptional weight loss compound. HCA is purportedly an ATP citrate lyase inhibitor which helps to both fight weight gain and promotes weight loss when adequately supplied in the body. ATP Citrate Lyase is the enzyme responsible for promoting the conversion of carbohydrates into fatty acids. When HCA inhibits its functions, therefore, it prevents this conversion thus reducing the amount of fat deposited in the body.

Garcinia Cambogia has been subjected to several studies most of which are only done on animals. In rodents, for instance, a few clinical trials pointed out that daily supplementation of Garcinia cambogia Extracts resulted in significant weight loss within weeks. When the compound was subjected to humans the story was quite different. One report from the Journal of Obesity published in 2011 showed that consumption of Garcinia Cambogia in humans had a very minor nearly insignificant weight loss impact making its use as a weight loss ingredient pointless.

A nutrient with such contradicting results on its efficacy always points out to the possibility of it not being beneficial at all. We are probably going to need more independent and reliable studies to prove what it can and cannot do in weight loss.

Lean Mode is supplied with 500mg of Garcinia cambogia extracts that have been standardized to 60% (300 mg) of the primary compound HCA.

  • Green Coffee Bean Extracts

Very little was known about green coffee beans until it was featured in Dr. Oz’s show. After this episode, the ingredient blew up and started appearing a lot more in weight loss supplements. Green Coffee bean extracts are believed to be beneficial for weight loss in their unroasted form. At this point, the beans contain Chlorogenic acid which scientists believe can aid in weight loss.

While HCA from Garcinia Cambogia is said to prevent the conversion of carbohydrates to fatty acids, the Chlorogenic acid found in unroasted coffee beans works by preventing the absorption of carbohydrates in the gut. This hence means that if it works, it will put less pressure on HCA and if a few carbs find their way into your system then the HCA will be present to curb their conversion into fat.

Chlorogenic acid is further associated with benefits such as decreased triglyceride and cholesterol levels in the body. This drops chances of contracting cardiovascular diseases promoting your general health.

Green coffee bean extracts are widely used in weight loss supplements but there are a few trials questioning its efficacy that we need to mention. In 2011, scientists conducted a review of the existing literature regarding green coffee extracts and found out that it possesses promising weight loss properties but the problem was its impact was too minimal. The reliability of studies done on unroasted coffee beans faced another major blow when details emerged that some of these trials were sponsored by companies that were already making supplements containing this compound.

Lean Mode contains 500mg of green coffee extracts that is standardized to 45% meaning the total supply of Chlorogenic acid is 225mg. This is a decent dosage if the clinical trials quoted by the manufacturer are anything to go by.

  • Conjugated Linoleic Acid

These are polyunsaturated omega 6 fatty acids commonly found in dairy products and animals. Conjugated Linoleic Acid was first used in a study to treat cancer in mice back in 1979. Since then it has also been said to be an effective immune system booster and inhibitor of atherosclerosis.

In weight loss, CLA is believed to be magnificent in boosting the oxidization of fat which reduces the amount of fat in the body and also in promoting basal metabolic rate that cuts down fat and releases energy to the body.

Several studies were done on animals confirmed these benefits to some extent thus suggesting trials in humans. In 2007, the American Society for Clinical Nutrition conducted a meta-analysis of several studies done on CLA to establish the extent of its weight loss efficacy. This analysis indeed showed positive results but the problems were the time it took to yield the needed outcomes. Most patients witnessed modest weight loss after months of using more than 1000mg of CLA daily!

Lean Mode contains just 500mg of CLA in every serving which is below the 1000mg used in most other clinical trials. Another problem is even if the serving in Lean Mode is two pills making it 1000 CLA it will still take months for users to see results. It is hence not the best of ingredients to use if you are looking for fast results.

  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine

Carnitine is found in avocados, soybeans and meat products. This amino acid is responsible for transporting fatty acids to mitochondria where oxidation takes place. Carnitine deficiency usually results in the inability of a person’s body to efficiently burn fat.

The idea behind using carnitine is that at high levels it should be able to force oxidation of more fatty acids thus reducing fat in the body. This may sound possible theoretically but a few clinical trials show otherwise. The American journal of clinical nutrition, for example, claimed that people without carnitine deficiency cannot get any metabolic advantages from an increase in this amino acid in the body.

The compound is also said to be capable of improving cognitive functions which is yet to be confirmed by a quality study done on humans.

Lean Mode contains 500mg of this compound.

  • Green Tea Extracts

Green Tea extracts are popular in weight loss supplements where they are said to work through the caffeine and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) present. EGCG is said to promote fat loss by breaking down norepinephrine. Higher levels of norepinephrine in the boy will then boost the speed of fat loss. Caffeine meanwhile is said to enhance metabolism but LeanMode manufacturers claim that this stimulant is not present in the supplement.

LeanMode has 250mg of Green Tea Extracts standardized to 60% (150mg) EGCG.

Potential Side Effects of Using LeanMode?

EVlution Nutrition LeanMode is associated with several adverse effects including nausea, stomach upsets, and restlessness. The manufacturer explains that the lack of stimulants should, however, reduce the chances of experiencing these reactions.

Taking EVlution Nutrition LeanMode

The recommended dosage is three tablets taken twice daily. LeanMode should be taken alongside a glass full of water at least 30 minutes before a meal.

Where Can I buy EVlution Nutrition LeanMode?

This supplement is available in multiple online stores including Amazon. The supplement sells at around $24.

EVlution Nutrition LeanMode Review

EVlution Nutrition LeanMode is designed for people that want weight loss supplements without exposing their bodies to stimulants. Its formula is a bright idea. Looking at the ingredients used, most of them can only yield minimal weight loss while other compounds are below their effective dosages which makes them ineffective. With such concerns, we believe its best that if you want robust effects then you look for other more potent fat loss supplements.
