So what happens now?

This blog is going to take a little change in direction –> when I first started the blog, I was writing about my half Marathon Training. Then it was my marathon training –> without trying, it became a Running blog.

Now my marathon is over, I’m not going to be blogging about running as much –> purely because I’m not going to be running as much. As much as I really enjoy running, my hips cannot take much more and my health comes first. So instead of running, I’m going to be focusing my energy on the gym –> I’m going to start a training plan which will involve lots of weights and a little cardio.

I’m super excited to get started and focus 100% on making my body as strong as possible. I will be blogging about my gym workouts –> which ones worked the best, which ones hurt like hell and which ones I will never do again! I will also be blogging about the food that I’m eating, which meals work the best and my favourite snacks.

Rather than being a running blog, it is going to be a general fitness and food blog but it will still have the honestly –> please don’t expect to see polished food photos or perfectly filmed workout videos, that is never ever going to happen.

My workout plan is coming from my partner –> he’s been going to the gym for just over a year and he has a solid weights routine so I’ve set him a challenge of making me one. It will be really interesting to see how my body copes and adapts to the plan but I’m super excited to see where I am in the next 3 months!

Do you follow a routine at the moment?

What works best for you –> weights, cardio or a bit of both?
