1. We Are

Ovo Spaces (formerly Structural Interiors) designed the new offices of branding and design agency We Are located in Sheffield, England. To call We Are’s headquarters a creative office design is to damn it with faint praise. A Mixology North 2015 Award Winning Project, the offices are set out in a Grade II Listed Grain Warehouse on the city’s Victoria Quays, built in the early 1800s and largely neglected. It was a painstaking refurbishment project, creating an amazing space that is altogether apt for such a leading-edge creative design agency as We Are.

2. The Balance

Also noted for its creative office design qualities is The Balance, situated in the heart of Sheffield city centre. The Balance has proved a popular base of operations for many businesses in the city in recent years. The landmark building, with its spaciousness and facilities, as well as its convenient location, has attracted some of Sheffield’s best known businesses including Plusnet, Hill Dickinson, Access Computer Consulting, Horwich Farrelly and Protocol Education.

3. Electric Works

Electric Works embodies some of the best aspects of the most creative office design throughout its serviced office spaces. The rebrand and remodel was handled by Vivid Creative, and boasts all the hallmarks of the signature stylings that Ovo brings to its own clients (see We Are at item 1, above). The offices are beautifully simple and elegantly functional, emphasising the core values that form the Ovo ethos, which works not only as an inspiring spur to employees, but also as a fantastic showcase for the Ovo core values and skills, for prospective clients of the firm.

5. Bluestone Credit Management

The DL Company was appointed to fit out Bluestone Credit Management‘s workplace in Sheffield, giving it a fresh, modern feel. The inspiring nature of this office is evident in the enthusiasm with which Anne Roberts of Bluestone Credit Services hails the fit-out project by The DL Company as “a high quality office environment” that meets all of the firm’s professional needs and requirements. There is also a notable degree of ‘ownership’ of the project among the team at Bluestone, Anne Roberts also having noted the close and enthusiastic working relationship between the designers and Bluestone’s internal team during the fit-out.

6. STA Travel

STA Travel’s Sheffield branch was the first of the travel agency’s newly designed retail spaces, and a preparation for a refurb and remodel rollout throughout all of the businesses High Street outlets. The redesign was carried out by Domino Interiors, to create an open, spacious and airy atmosphere, dramatically offset by a vibrant colour scheme. It has been an instant success with staff, and led to an immediate increase in sales.
