The way that most people build their Business online follows a strategy that consists of:
- Drive traffic to a capture page
- Capture the persons email (turning them into a lead)
- The lead is then directed to a sales page to buy the marketers product
- The marketer then follows up by sending emails promoting the same product
This is a universal strategy that has been so overused in the industry that the success rate of it is zero. Yes, zero.
While most Marketers try to create the Audience, the top 1% find people who want what they have, build their audience people and then they hand deliver the goods.
The formula has changed… in fact, this is the exact process that the top 1% online marketers follow to make money.
- Invest In Yourself
All top Earners Understand the importance of investing in the right education. In fact the top CEO in the world reads an average of 60 books a year. That’s alot of books!
Don’t be afraid to spend money on developing your skills and resourcefulness, consider it an investment that will pay you life-long dividends!
- Gain Knowledge
The more you know, the better you position yourself as an expert in your niche and the more likely people will trust you.
- Have A Strategy In Place
Whats your plan? Don’t mistake action for progress. You need to have a business plan behind everything that you do.
- Provide Value
What makes you stand apart? To have a name online, you need to have a brand. And the best way to have a brand is to Provide original content. Educate your audience in your field.
You can do blog posts, videos or even podcasts but always educate your audience with your own personality and spin.
- Drive Targeted Traffic
You can have the best content in the world and provide the most value, but if nobody sees it then it’s worthless. There are many sources of Traffic out there, Bing, Facebook, Youtube, Google etc. Make sure you don’t overwhelm yourself, pick one source of traffic and commit to mastering it before moving on another.
- Provide More Value
You can never provide too much value. Aside from content the best marketers provided value in a variety of ways. Videos, podcasts, Webinars, there are alot of options out there.
- Turn Your Traffic/Audience Into Leads
Top earners understand that 99% of traffic you drive will not purchase anything from on first exposure. You need to convert that traffic into leads by providing a “legal bribe”. Offer something of value in the form of a special report or video series in exchange for an Email Address. You can now communicate with that email address consistently, build a relationship until they are ready to buy.
- Provide More Value
You seeing a pattern here? Value, Value, Value!
- Have An Irresistable Offer
We are in business after all, so you need to sell something! You need to have an offer that will help your customers acheive their goals. Personally I’m not a big fan of starting off creating your own product. You’d be best served starting with an affiliate program, learning how to market that product and when you have a decent income, THEN you can make your own product.
- Teach Leads How To Duplicate

It’s not what you can do, it’s what you can teach others to do. There is only so much that you can do in 24 hours so it is important to leverage the efforts of your leads to not only achieve their goals, but allow you to keep the money coming in. Everybody wins!
