NVIDIA Partners With Tech Leaders To Launch NIM Agent Blueprints For Scalable AI Solutions

NVIDIA has launched NIM Agent Blueprints, a set of pre-trained AI workflows designed to help enterprises quickly develop and deploy generative AI applications. These Blueprints support various use cases, including customer service, drug discovery, and data extraction. How will these Blueprints revolutionise AI development, and what role do global partners play in accelerating enterprise AI adoption?

In 2024, the adoption of generative AI across industries continues to surge, with over 80% of large enterprises incorporating AI to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Gartner® predicts that by 2025, 80% of conversational AI offerings will embed generative AI, a significant leap from 20% in 2024.

NVIDIA has introduced NVIDIA NIM Agent Blueprints, a collection of ready-to-use AI workflows designed to help enterprise developers quickly create and deploy AI applications for tasks like virtual customer service agents, generating responses from large datasets, and drug discovery screening.

These Blueprints provide a head start for developers building AI applications with multiple AI agents. They come with example applications using NVIDIA NeMo, NVIDIA NIM, and partner services, along with sample code, guides for customisation, and a Helm chart for easy deployment. Enterprises can customise the blueprints with their own data and run the AI applications in their data centres or in the cloud. The Blueprints allow businesses to keep improving their AI tools based on user feedback, creating a cycle of continuous improvement.

The first available Blueprints include a digital human for customer service, a workflow for AI-driven drug discovery, and a tool for retrieving information from PDFs using large amounts of business data. These Blueprints are free for developers to try and can be used in production with the NVIDIA AI Enterprise platform.

Companies like Accenture, Deloitte, SoftServe, and WWT are helping to bring these Blueprints to businesses around the world. Meanwhile, Cisco, Dell, HPE, and Lenovo are offering the necessary hardware and software solutions to speed up their deployment.

Across industries, generative AI is acting as a catalyst for companies looking to reinvent with tech, data and AI,” said Julie Sweet, chair and CEO of Accenture. “By integrating NVIDIA’s catalog of workflows into Accenture’s AI Refinery, we can help our clients develop custom AI systems at speed and reimagine how they do business and serve their customers to drive stronger business outcomes and create new value.”

A new AI paradigm for businesses

NVIDIA’s Nim Agent Blueprints, part of the NVIDIA AI Enterprise platform, provide businesses with pre-trained, adaptable AI workflows for various key use cases. These include customer service, drug discovery, and data extraction from PDFs, enabling enterprises to rapidly deploy AI-driven solutions tailored to their needs. Enterprises can further enhance these applications using their proprietary data, creating a feedback loop that refines AI performance through continuous user interaction.

In the words of Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, “Generative AI is advancing at lightspeed. Frontier model capabilities are growing exponentially with a continuous stream of new applications. The enterprise AI wave is here. With the NVIDIA AI Enterprise toolkit — including NeMo, NIM microservices and the latest NIM Agent Blueprints — our expansive partner ecosystem is poised to help enterprises customise open-source models, build bespoke AI applications and deploy them seamlessly across any cloud, on-premises or at the edge.”

NIM agent blueprints: Real-world applications

NVIDIA’s Nim Agent Blueprints provide a jump-start for enterprises looking to integrate AI into their operations. These blueprints come with sample applications, reference codes, customisation documents, and Helm charts to facilitate deployment. The initial offering from NIM Agent Blueprints includes three core workflows:

  1. Digital Human for Customer Service: A workflow utilising NVIDIA’s ACE, Omniverse RTX, Audio2Face and Llama 3.1 technologies, transforming traditional customer service into engaging, humanlike interactions powered by 3D avatars.
  2. Multimodal PDF Data Extraction: This workflow allows businesses to unlock actionable insights from vast amounts of PDF data using NeMo Retriever microservices, making it ideal for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models.
  3. Generative Virtual Screening for Drug Discovery: Targeted at pharmaceutical research, this blueprint accelerates the identification of potential drug molecules, integrating NVIDIA’s BioNeMo, AlphaFold2, MolMIM, and DiffDock microservices.

Each of these blueprints offers enterprises the flexibility to modify workflows to meet their unique business needs. They come equipped with sample applications, reference code, documentation, and Helm charts for deployment, providing a complete toolkit for AI application development and scaling.

Enterprise partnerships driving AI forward

NVIDIA’s global partners, including Accenture, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Deloitte, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo, and SoftServe, are integral to the rapid adoption of NIM Agent Blueprints. These partners offer enterprises the infrastructure and expertise needed to deploy AI applications on a large scale.

Every enterprise knows generative AI is central to modernizing their operations, but not every enterprise knows where to begin their generative AI journey,” said Harry Propper, CEO of SoftServe. “Adding NVIDIA NIM Agent Blueprints into the SoftServe Gen AI Solutions portfolio gives clients proven frameworks for developing AI applications that put their own data to work.”

Accelerating enterprise AI adoption

NIM Agent Blueprints offer enterprises the opportunity to build a “data-driven AI flywheel,” a feedback loop that improves AI applications over time through continuous learning. With this capability, businesses can scale their AI operations more efficiently, driving innovation and productivity.

The introduction of NIM Agent Blueprints signals the next wave of enterprise AI, following the success of open-source foundation models such as Google Gemma, Llama 3.1, Microsoft Phi, and others. By leveraging the combination of NVIDIA’s NeMo framework and NIM microservices, enterprises can now operationalise AI applications across industries with unprecedented speed.

As Jason Girzadas, CEO of Deloitte US, emphasised, “By embedding NVIDIA’s NIM Agent Blueprints into enterprise solutions that are built on NVIDIA NIM microservices, Deloitte is engaging with our clients to innovate faster, unlock new growth opportunities and define AI-competitive advantage.”

A collaborative future for AI development

NVIDIA’s partner ecosystem extends to other key players such as Cisco, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Lenovo, providing the necessary infrastructure for AI deployment. These partners, alongside service providers like SoftServe and WWT, ensure that enterprises have access to the tools required for smooth AI integration.

Companies like ServiceNow are already embedding NIM microservices into their AI-powered solutions, while NVIDIA continues to release monthly updates to expand the capabilities of NIM Agent Blueprints, focusing on areas such as content generation, R&D, and retail shopping advisors.

With this collaborative approach, enterprises worldwide can now build, deploy, and scale their own generative AI applications, creating a sustainable and competitive advantage in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
