Client: Learners Edge
Site Live: July 2015
Learners Edge creates remarkable experiences that inspire educators and ultimately improve the quality of teaching and learning. They offer more than 85 self-paced distance learning courses that cover a wide variety of topics that help PreK-12 teachers in the classroom. The types of services they offer range from courses on literacy, science, ADHD, teaching to different genders, and are most often offered in a print-based or online format.
Learners Edge had many goals in mind for their new website. They wanted an updated look and feel that was built with a responsive design layout, a seamless user experience that was geared toward increasing prospect acquisitions, and the ability to utilize HubSpot’s Content Optimization System, or COS, for the framework and hosting of their new site.
Here is what their site looked like before:
We worked closely with the Learners Edge team throughout each step of the website redesign process—from initial strategy and planning to site mapping, wireframing, designing, development, testing, and launching of the finished product.
Here is what their site looked like after:
Keeping the lines of communication open, sitting down in person, and having regularly scheduled meetings between both teams really helped facilitate an efficient and effective website redesign project launch. Our project team built and customized the new Learner's Edge site on the HubSpot COS to achieve the company's desired goals of having a fully responsive design that was optimized for mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones.
Their new design has a very clean layout with supporting content that enables the user to easily navigate to the courses they are looking for. This design ultimately facilitated an enhanced user experience that helped Learner's Edge generate more leads and new business.
With the launch of their new site, Learners Edge has experienced an increase in traffic year-over-year from 2014 to 2015 as illustrated in the graph below. Not only has their site traffic increased, but course sales, in comparison from 2014 to 2015, are up 16%!
The ongoing collaboration between Learners Edge and Synecore has made this website redesign project a huge success. They’ve grown their business with the help of this new site and are now able to deliver courses faster to the teachers who want and need them.
