I get it if that sounds strange. For those of you following me, you’ve likely heard me talk about teaching myself to write when I was three years old because I wanted to write stories so badly. Plus, I currently have two published novels out there (along with five Love-Based Business books) AND I’m close to finishing a three-book psychological thriller/mystery trilogy.
I’ve also had a fiction author site up for a few years now.
So, what’s different now?
Well, the big thing is I’ve finally gotten to a point where I’m able to embrace two different identities—my fiction writing identity and my entrepreneur identity. If you’re an entrepreneur who has multiple passions and has been trying to wrestle those passions into one business, you’ll understand when I say this was something that really held me back from stepping into my true power and success … until I could handle both of those identities emotionally, and simultaneously.
I’m going to share more about that journey on my fiction blog, beginning with the following post, which digs into the concept of your conscious mind in relations to transformation (hint: just because your conscious mind wants to transform, it doesn’t mean you’re actually READY to make that transformation).
Read it here.
(Also, as a fiction author who has built a multiple six-figure business from scratch, and who has helped other entrepreneurs sell nearly $50M worth of products and services over the past eight years using love-based copy and marketing, I do know a thing or two about a thing or two.
What I’ve learned along the way is that the inner game is just as important as the outer game, and the more you can manage your mindset and your emotions, the further you’ll get.
On this blog, I’m going to gear inner mindset strategies and external marketing and business strategies toward the entrepreneur. But, if you want to get a taste of the internal game from a creative, artistic standpoint, definitely follow my fiction blog.)
