by Nasreen Shaikh | 15 Dec 2017 Studying at NZIE has been such a blast, and one of the main highlights has been meeting some genuinely amazing people. I’ve made some life long friends from all over the world and between you and me – let’s just say, I’m covered if I ever need a place to stay when I start traveling around the world! Now I’m super-duper excited because this is our very first #FeatureFriday blog post! This is where I can introduce you to some of those awesome classmates that have been up to some pretty cool things. Actually, some pretty AWESOME things. Today, I’d like to introduce you to Nnyl Hubilla, aka Wolf. You must be wondering where he got the nickname from? Well, no one really knows.. but the nickname fits him to a T. Wolf is from the Philippines, is a graduate of marketing and business, and was working as a financial advisor before he decided to make his journey to little ol’ New Zealand. He’s full of personality and an endless amount of jokes – guaranteed to make you laugh all class! Wolf has a Youtube Channel called WolfNnyl, focusing on his humour, his adventures in NZ, being a Filipino International Student, and also tips on Digital Marketing! I got the chance to chat with Wolf and pick his brain on what its like studying in NZ: How do you like studying at NZIE? “It’s really fun to study here at NZIE because we’ve been introduced to real life scenarios that can help us in our future jobs, also people are really nice and the school is highly diverse.” How are you enjoying New Zealand? “I’m really enjoying it so far, because I meet new friends and get to network with different people. I’m learning a lot especially the technical side of Digital Marketing” What are your future plans in Digital Marketing, and your Youtube Channel? “I’m planning to apply my knowledge and skills in my Digital Marketing career. I’m hoping to create a lot of content in the future. And with my YouTube Channel, I want to help people who are like me, that are struggling to figure out the basic stuff about digital marketing, and I want to share all my knowledge on how important this course is and help them adapt to the ever changing online world. I want to gain a bigger audience and help touch peoples lives.” And that you will, Wolf! Your sense of humour, knowledge and skills in Digital Marketing are going to take you places – we wish you the best of luck! Make sure to give Wolf a follow on Instagram and subscribe on Youtube to keep up with his crazy antics!
