Reliability Hardware Test Engineer (Mechanical)
Responsibilities
Application of Reliability analytics in Life Data Analysis, Accelerated Life Tests, Reliability Growth, Reliability Block Diagrams etc.
Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical hardware validation
Problem identification and hands-on troubleshooting of a wide range of engineering problems.
Determine reliability test requirements, integrate test rigs and execute reliability tests to deliver end to end reliability test solutions.
Communicate effectively with global cross-functional teams (at different time zones)
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Job Specific Knowledge
Hands-on with electro-mechanical hardware reliability validation tests
Design for Reliability (DfR) knowledge & experience in product development cycle
Application of reliability engineering (Reliability goal setting, FMECA, FBD, RBD, MTBF Calculation, Life Data Analysis and Reliability Growth) in product validation
Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical components and related Failure Mechanisms / Physics of failure
Hands-on experience with sensors (e.g. temperature, pressure, flow, vibration, motion detection etc.) and related data acquisition systems (DAQ)
Proficiency in Reliability Analytics (Reliasoft, PTC Windchill Quality) – Weibull++, Reliability Growth, Lambda Predict, Accelerated Life Test Analysis
Deep understanding of Reliability Prediction Models like NPRD/EPRD, MIL-HDBK-217, Bellcore / Telcordia SR-332 etc.
Experience in destructive and non-destructive test methods and failure analysis
Experience in Semiconductor equipment or similar high-tech industry is preferable
Knowledge of statistical methods and tools (e.g. JMP), Design of Experiments (DOE) is a plus
Automation experience (e.g. LabVIEW) is a plus

Education
B. Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with 6-8 years of relevant industry experience
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) preferred
