Don’t ignore NCERT:

These should be first priority. Try practicing with them and revise through the concepts and theories. The JEE Main 2017, also saw a number of questions from the NCERT books.

Don’t use too many reference books:

Using too many of reference books can mix up your concepts and generate confusion. If you have covered your NCERT books and further looking for reference books, try to use one or two books.

Don’t ignore a subject:

When it comes to preparing for an examination like JEE or NEET, many candidates feel that they can safely avoid studying one subject if they can prepare all other subject to the best extent— which commonly happens. They ignore it! It results in the performance and reduces the chances of answering simple questions. You should try to revise all the subjects, especially during the revision phase.
