A Simple Approach To Empowering Your Dyslexic Child

We recently saw an Article entitled, “5 things which make the biggest of differences according to the voice of dyslexic children!”.  The article was originally posted onbehindthesmileis.wordpress.com and shared by Susan Barton, of Bright Solutions For Dyslexia on Facebook.  In the article, the author, a teacher, relates the five thing that her students state have meant the most to them.  These include,

  1. ” I Smile at them”
  2. “I give them work they can FINISH!”
  3. “I apparently start from what they know and I believe they can do it and that helps them think it is possible!”
  4. “I mostly let them have fun… There is not much hard work”
  5. ‘They want to work hard for me… Because they don’t want to let me or themselves down!’

Of these number 3 struck as the most powerful.  To show a child that you believe in her makes all the difference.

After you watch the video let us know what you think.  Please comment and share below.
