Meet Kathy, Middle School Star Student who has been with CalPac since last year. CalPac has had a great influence in her life. She said, “They give me more work but it helps me understand the topic better than when I am in public school”.  CalPac is great because she can work at her own pace unlike being in brick and mortar school.

Katherine’s favorite subject is Math and she says, “Math is my favorite subject because it challenges me but sometimes it is easier when I understand it. It is based more on logic and I like logic.” In her spare time, she loves to play competitive tennis. She also plays the piano and she used to be a competitive swimmer. 

Katherine wants to get a scholarship for tennis and go to UCLA or Stanford and would like to major in Finance, business, and/or marketing. 

To be successful in school, Katherine says, “I try to stay organized with most of my assignments so I can stay on pace and not fall behind. I stay organized by using a lot of resources that CalPac offers like the Virtual binder, the planner, and than I also have my own personal one as well.” Ten years from now, she sees herself graduating from college and finding a successful job.
