  • Bypoll - an election held in a single political constituency to fill a vacancy arising during a government's term of office
  • Blunt - saying what you think without trying to be polite or considering other people's feelings
  • Pointer - something that shows you an existing situation
  • Popular - used about something that many people want or like to have
  • Firm - strong
  • Trend-setter - someone or something that starts a new fashion / trend
  • Constituency - one of the official areas of a country that elects someone to represent it in a parliament or legislature
  • Inevitably - certain to happen and unable to be avoided or prevented
