DELSU Admission Requirements For 2022/2023

Delta State University admission requirements for JAMB:

1. For a start, you need to have at least 5 credit passes in your O’level result (WAEC NECO, or NABTEB) including English and Mathematics not more than two (2) sittings before you can study in DELSU.
2. You must have chosen the correct JAMB subject combination for your course.
3. Candidates must score at least 150 in the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be offered admission into the Delta State University.
4. DELSU must be your first choice of Institution.
5. You must participate in the DELSU post-UTME screening exercise to be considered for admission.
6. Any candidate who fails to take part in the screening exercise automatically loses his or her chance of being considered for admission.
7. You must have reached the age of 16 by October this year.

DELSU Admission Requirements For Direct Entry 2022/2023

Delta State University admission requirements for Direct Entry (DE) candidates:

1. For a start, you need to have at least 5 credit passes in your O’level result (WAEC NECO, or NABTEB) including English and Mathematics not more than two (2) sittings before you can study in DELSU.
2. Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the DELSU Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And DELSU Portal.
3. You must have chosen the correct JAMB subject combination for your course.
4. DELSU must be your first choice of Institution.
5. You must participate in the DELSU online post UTME screening exercise.
6. You must have reached the age of 16 by October this year.
7. DELSU accept (First Class Degree, Second Class, and Upper credit) but in related fields.
8. DELSU also accept a minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND) and other Advanced Level Certificates depending on the course.
9. In some cases, DELSU accepts JUPEB and IJMB A’level results but you must have a good result before applying.
