Many significant institutions are becoming interested in the Metaverse and are now investigating the future of this technology to provide services based on it. KPMG, one of the world’s largest auditing firms, has named a new head of metaverse futures with the goal of launching new business models based on crypto and metaverse technology.

Alyse Sue, who has expertise in software engineering will fill the new post. Further, she has experience in establishing two Web3-related firms, Transhuman Coin and Futrdao. Sue will create this new sector inside the organisation, assessing client thoughts and demands about the metaverse.

Sue feels that we are only getting started with this kind of service and that firms are still investigating the uses of these technologies.

A Metaverse Objective

While Sue is the first head of metaverse futures, the firm has a notion of the duties that this new division will investigate. According to James Mabbott, the head of KPMG’s futures, the firm has received a “growing number of queries” about clients and using Web3 and metaverse technologies.

KPMG anticipates new business models to emerge as a result of these interactions. KPMG is bullish on the future of metaverse technology and the amount of income it may generate by providing these services.

Moreover, other big four firms have already come on board with the metaverse. EY stated on October 26 that it was adding metaverse capability to its Wavespace group utility app, letting clients meet in the metaverse.
