I believe that books are the best friends of human beings. Books are the repository of knowledge and information. Sometimes these tend to be our guides, sometimes people get inspiration and motivation from them and sometimes one can simply enjoy reading to drain his stress and anxiety. As an avid reader, I have read hundreds of books out of which a recent one named “Connect the dots” was the one of the most worthwhiles.

A month ago, we visited one of my father’s bosom friends, Mr Vijay Thakur, whose son was trying to establish his own start-up. I had a word with him and after listening to him, I became a fan of his spirit. He also showed interest in my future plans as I am in the last semester of my engineering. At the time when we were about to leave, he gifted me this book from his personal library. I was so elated and couldn’t thank him enough for his act. The moment I reached home, I started perusing its initial part which immersed me to that extent that I became oblivious of the passage of time. It took me nearly a week to finish it.

About the book, it is a collection of true stories of 20 entrepreneurs who didn’t possess master degrees to plan and expand their businesses. This book is truly inspirational which exhorts people to work diligently and have faith on their calibre to transform their simple concepts from dreams to realities. Because of its immersive and impressive content written by Rashmi Bansal, this is an excellent read and can be contemplated as a must have.  This book is divided into three sections : Jugaad, Junoon and Zubaan. It’s all about how these 20 people used their talents to create business pursuits for themselves without much resources with their exemplary determination and diligence.

The most prominent reason behind my liking is the message it conveys to every reader which is those who have trust in themselves, grow to become truly inspirational success stories.
