What is Company Secretary Course?

Company Secretary Course is also known as the CS course and it is offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The main target of this course is to regulate the profession of company secretaries in India. The Company Secretary Course consists of two stages –

  • CS Executive Program
  • CS Professional Program

In order to qualify for the CS Executive Program (1st Stage), you have to qualify for the national-level Company Secretary Executive Entrance test (CSEET). After completing the 1st stage you will qualify for the second stage which is CS Professional Program. Below is the complete stage to becoming a Company Secretary –

Which MBA Field is Best after Completing Company Secretary Course?

Completing the CS course will give you the flexibility to work in both public and private sectors as well as in financial institutions, banks, and many more. Eligibility Criteria of CS Executive Course

In order to participate in the CS Executive program, you must be at least 17 years old and must pass the class 12 examination. There are two ways you can qualify for the course. If you can pass the class 12 exam from a recognized university or complete the Graduates or Postgraduates program then you will have to participate in the entrance exam. You will get the direct entry if you are –

  • ICAI Final Course passed students (with exemption fee), or
