So, the customer can affix the tag to the package by himself and then call UPS for another pickup arrangement. Or, the customer can drop off the package at the nearest UPS Store or any other UPS drop-off location by himself.
DAMAGEThis type of call tag is used for damaged products or parcels. If UPS receives any complaints about damage to the product from the customer then UPS issues this type of return label. Using this type of tag, UPS collects the package and assesses the damage at a UPS facility. If the product damage is extensive then UPS will dispose of the product. If the product is usable, then UPS will forward the damaged product back to the shipper. If UPS misses three consecutive pickup attempts then this tag will be canceled.
