Admission Process

Admission will be granted to a student only if all the pre-requisites are satisfactorily completed.

The curriculum of the MD program is as follows.
1. The student will have to complete the basic science phase that consists of five trimesters. This academic study would comprise of the theoretical part of the academic program.
2. After the completion of the basic sciences program, the students will be getting hands-on experience in the clinical science phase. This would consist of an 86 week clinical rotation cycle.
3. The clinical rotations are divided into two parts. 48 weeks of core rotations and 24 weeks of elective clinical rotations.
4. The 48 weeks of clinical rotations would give a student experience in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
5. The remaining 24 weeks the students could elect which clinical rotations they wish to participate in.
6. The admission requirements like transcripts, letter of recommendation, police report, etc., should be submitted to the admission committee along with the application form.
7. A student should score 75% or higher marks to pass the medical examinations.
8. In the Doctor of Medicine program, the fees for the basic medical sciences course is $ 5500 per trimester and $ 6500 per trimester for clinical sciences course respectively. The students have to pay for the application, matriculation, and graduation fees separately.
