He is also Known as one of the world’s most social media savvy political leaders. Now, Modi tops the most followed list on Twitter in India with 37.5 million followers.
In one year PM Narendra Modi become a large number of follower Indian on Twitter, PM Narendra Modi gained 37.5 million followers, a leap of 51%, while GST, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the presidential elections and the first anniversary of demonetisation became top topics and hashtags.
PM Modi’s twitter handle @narendramodi is followed by 37.5 million people, Twitter India said on Tuesday.

Today, The micro-blogging site has released a round-up list of 2017 on the ‘Most Followed Indians On twitter’. While the PM retained the number one position, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan raked the second position with 31.6 million followers by Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The list also includes Akshaya Kumar, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sachin Tendulkar, Hrithik Roshan and Viral Kohli.
