Review: Set in the rustic terrains during the late 70s, Arun Kumar Aravind’s Kaattu is a slice-of-life tale with lead characters inspired by the short stories of veteran writer/filmmaker, P. Padmarajan. The film has been garnering attention for all the right reasons- for being an adaptation of one of Padmarajan’s masterpieces, having the actors, especially Asif Ali, clothed in a rugged and rustic look, which is a never before seen avatar.
