This is quiet true . Today we are going to tell you about ,

5 CEOs who studied mathematics .


According to some reports by the Education Department of United States, the people who study mathematics  or science have the highest rates of employment.

And also having a mathematics degree , gives you more significance .

According to some reports, jobs have grown 75% faster as because more and more math graduates were in the market and the students with such a degree were having a high probability of having a high paying job.



And even that reflects on the way companies work too, like on this PI DAY that occurred on 14th of March . Like Microsoft gave a 31.4 percent discount on their laptops whereas NASA promoted its 'Space Math Challenge' .

 1. Steve Ballmer



He is none other than the former ceo of Microsoft , Steve ballmer and was a very serious mathematics geek . In the year of 1977, he took a mathematics degree from Harvard University .
He scored   800 / 800 in the SAT maths section.


2. Sergey Brin



He is the one among the cofounders of Google .
He majored both in mathematics as well as computer science at the University of Maryland.


3. REED HASTINGS




He is the CEO of Netflix , a very popular American entertainment company.
He learned mathematics at Bowdoin college.

4. JEFFREY R. IMMELT



He is the CEO of General Electric .
He learned concepts of applied mathematics at Dartmouth University.
He later did his MBA from Harvard Business School .
He even said into one of his interviews that he uses his mathematics degree more than his other two degrees in his daily routine.


5. Indra Nooyi


She is the CEO of PepsiCo and she got her Bachelor's of Science Degree in 1974 in Physics , Mathematics and Chemistry from Madras Christian College.
Indra launched the Million Women Mentors Initiative , that aimed at getting more girls' attention towards STEM allocating them with female mentors in STEM field.
