How to Plan a Baby Shower Candy Buffet to Impress Your Guests

Welcoming a new addition to the family means also planning out the perfect Baby Shower, which also means having party favors for your party guests that are both cute and match the theme of the shower. If you're thinking of having a "candy buffet," which is very popular right now, here are some things that will inspire you and can help you properly plan out a memorable Candy Buffet for your baby shower.

A candy buffet is typically a dedicated area at the baby shower full of sweets and candy that reflect the theme of the baby shower or maybe even the gender of the baby if it already has been announced. Much like a regular buffet, but only featuring sweeter things. Here are some ideas and pointers to get you started:

  • Using cute open containers for candies such as lollipops is a great way to accent the table with the central point of your baby shower theme. For example, if you're going for a more feminine look if the baby is going to be a girl, you can decorate vases and other containers with pink silk ribbons in bows and pink stones in the jars to hold up the candies.

  • Another very cute idea is to use clear apothecary and old vintage candy jars. These can be easily found online or at craft stores and they too can be decorated with ribbon or decoupage.

  • Arranging everything means having enough spacing between all of the candy items and by types of items. For example, baked goods can be at the front while hard candies can be placed in the back to make sure to add a colorful touch.

  • Don't forget about gourmet candies! These can really bring together a candy buffet and truly impress your guests. They come in various flavors and are perfect for any and every occasion.
