Queen guitarist Brian May has regretfully announced that he has cancelled all upcoming live shows.

Brian May, who was due to play 11 shows alongside singer Kerry Ellis has revealed that a ‘persistent illness’ is taking away his confidence, energy and will.  He has therefore been forced to Cancel all shows scheduled for the weeks leading up to Christmas.

A full apology was posted online, where Brian stated the following: “This is a decision I’ve agonized over, but in the end it has become inevitable.” May continued:  “I am now at the point where I don’t feel confident to perform the scheduled shows to the standard we all expect.” The full story can be found on Brian May’s official website.
