She appeared alongside Kris Kross on their 1996 album, “Young, Wealthy, and Dangerous.” She appeared on Missy Elliott’s album in the single the following year “Toe It 2 Me”. Controversies Never Left Her Side

Yet countless controversies have tarnished her career. She has a long history of legal troubles and has even served time in prison for her violent tendencies.

Da Brat gained notoriety in 2000 after beating a woman in an Atlanta bar with a rum bottle. She entered a guilty plea the next year, was sentenced to one year of probation, and made a $1,000 fee.

She was once more taken into custody on October 31, 2007, this time for violently attacking a hostess at a Halloween party at Atlanta’s Studio 72 nightclub. Three years in prison and seven years of probation were imposed on Da Brat. She was briefly let out of custody as part of a work-release programme in May 2010. After serving her full sentence in prison, she was formally freed in 2011.

How Did Her Story Begin with Jesseca Dupart

Da When Brat attended one of Jesseca Dupart’s Miracle Drops events in Atlanta in 2017, they got to know each other for the first time. Despite losing touch, they were able to reconnect. Although dating in 2019, Brat avoided discussing her sexuality in public.

The same year, they were seen holding hands at the Essence Festival. The 40-year-old businesswoman then asked Brat to marry her during the Coming to America-themed birthday celebration, and the singer said yes. She is Pregnant Now

In a March 2020 Instagram post about the extravagant early birthday gift she received from her wife—a white Bentley with a red interior and a specially designed red bow—Da Brat came out in public as a lesbian. Da Brat and her spouse, businesswoman Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart, are expecting a child.

Her wife, a 41-year-old mother of three, had strong opinions about who should carry their unborn child. Da Brat sought a second opinion after learning she couldn’t carry a child to term due to fibroid tumours.

The performer could carry as long as she had the fibroids removed first, according to the second doctor, who also agreed that they weren’t a major concern.
