Mike Andrews built this amazing thing for his other half, Nancy. A Surprise Date Night Idea! From what we know, he sure did earn quite a lot of brownie points! Boyfriend of the year? Especially in these times!? Andrews snagged the title – during the lockdown that too. What was it and how did he do it?

Mike surprised Nancy by turning their backyard garden into a Cinema. For date night. How adorable! Not just any cinema, but a personalised and lovely one.

He turned their back yard into a country setting cinema. With twinkly lights, blankets, music and a wide screen – it was beautiful. The lad even made some fake movie tickets himself to create the real look and feel of a cinema!

We don’t know about you, but Mike here is making all the boys look bad.

Mike explained to LADBible in an interview: “I was just sitting there thinking ‘what’s my girlfriend’s favourite thing to do?’

“I told her months ago I’d take her to the Everyman cinema in the Mailbox in Birmingham, but then broke my ankle in the January quite badly so I thought I’d leave it until I healed and then we’d go around March, but then lockdown hit us!”

What did his girlfriend have to say? What was her reaction?

Nancy told LADBible: “A few days prior to this, he had told me he was going to bring a date night to the garden and I didn’t have a clue what it could be.

“I was so confused as he kept giving me hints, but trying to throw me off so I would get confused and give up guessing!

“I was so shocked when I walked out the door and saw everything that he had done and how much work he had put into it!

“It was the best date night I have ever had!”
