A few days ago I was walking on Perú St., downtown, and noticed a group of musicians playing aboriginal music on the street. As my work is somehow related with the recovery of indigenous symbols and images, I found it very interesting and took a few photos of them. The group is called Hayllu Puras, they are from Ecuador (Otavalo) and you can hear a sample of their music on this video. This is one of the things that I love about Buenos Aires. You can always find something different to see, even if you haven't planned it. Happy holidays!
Hace unos días, estaba caminando por la calle Perú, en el microcentro, cuando observé un Grupo tocando música aborigen. Como mi trabajo está relacionado de cierta forma con la recuperación de simbología e imágenes indígenas, me interesó verlos y Escuchar su música. Les tomé algunas fotos. Se trata de un grupo llamado Hayllu Puras, son de Ecuador (Otavalo) y pueden escuchar una muestra de su música en este video. Ésta es una de las cosas que me encantan de Buenos Aires.
