Can You Help Little Miss Inventor Help Mr Bump?!

Mr. Men Little Miss today announces an event to celebrate the launch of their latest character, Little Miss Inventor! Held at The Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, the event will be an interactive day for Children featuring great inventions from throughout history, storytelling and inspiring talks from the world of invention, science and technology.

The event will take place on Saturday the 24th of March from 10am – 5pm with free admission!

Children have also been asked to enter their wackiest invention to help Mr. Bump to win the chance of being written into an upcoming Mr. Men Little Miss title. The winner will be announced at the event!!

Little Miss Inventor, the 36th Little Miss Character, is a female engineer. Her brain is full of ideas, which she turns into extraordinary inventions in a shed at the bottom of her garden. As well as inventing things for herself, she also invents things for her friends, whether it’s a chatter-natter hat for Little Miss Chatterbox or a back-pack-snack-attack fridge for Mr. Greedy.

Alastair McHarrie, Licensing Director at Sanrio said “I always enjoy seeing how people respond to a brand-new character. We know how excited our fans will be to meet Little Miss Inventor and the event launch is the perfect way for children to get into inventing and science”

Mr Men and Little Miss want to inspire the next generation of little inventors. At the event, young fans can meet the real Little Miss Inventor who will be there in person to help children with their inventions as well as:

  • Take time out in the Mr. Men Little Miss story time library area
  • Explore the Little Inventors workshop area
  • Discover some of history’s best inventions.
