Last year was a fun Filled weekend of pirating, workshops, swimming, walks, and general chilling. Filled with lots of good people, the weekend can be as action packed or laid-back as you like and it’s family friendly.
I spent the weekend in a valley with almost no cell phone reception. Pitched my tent in a field of rosemary and thyme, kicking up herbal fragrances on my way to the kitchen. It was a battery recharge I hadn’t realised I needed. More than anything, it’s the people who make the festival: a bunch of sweeter, happier, festival goers you won’t find anywhere.
And it’s infectious. Although I’ll never confess to it directly, on the last morning, there may have been a large swaying group hug at the end of an Acro-yoga workshop. I may or may not have been in the vicinity of said group.
Festival tickets are still on sale and cost 35 Euros.
