February 3: Great Sonoma Crab and Wine Fest – Santa Rosa
This popular crab feed is celebrating its 29th year. Enjoy the pairing of award winning wines with gourmet hors d’oeuvres prepared by local chefs. Dine on fresh Sonoma Coast crab and accompaniments, Participate in both silent and live auctions.
February 9: Valentine Walk Walk – San Francisco
The Union Street Association is hosting the 7th Annual Union Street Has a Crush on You Valentine Wine Walk from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This wine tasting event will include merchants offering wine samples inside their stores throughout Union Street from Gough to Steiner and on Fillmore Street from Union to Lombard. A fun time in the city in February 2018!
February 9: The Secret Wines of Napa Valley
Attend a wine tasting class where you will taste six lesser known or even rare Napa Wines. Discover some new favorites as you learn more about wine. Class is held at the The Culinary Institute of America at Copia, a branch campus of the private culinary college the Culinary Institute of America. The CIA at Copia, located at 500 1st Street in downtown Napa, provides food- and wine-related courses to visitors.
February 9-18: San Francisco Beer Week
The San Francisco Beer Week Opening Gala is the largest, most anticipated, and prestigious annual gathering of the Northern California craft beer community. It’s the kick off party for SF Beer Week, commencing a multi-day marathon of beer dinners, tastings, tap takeovers and educational events that occur all over the Bay Area. A “don’t miss” event for beer lovers – mark it on your February 2018 calendar!
February 10: Escondido Chocolate Festival
Stroll through Downtown Escondido’s restaurants, shops and spas while sampling chocolates paired with local fine wines and craft beers. Take a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride down Historic Grand Avenue. Escondido is located in Northern San Diego County and is home to a number of fabulous wineries, breweries, and fine restaurants. Art galleries and museums will have art exhibits and special activities to enjoy as well!
February 10: Valentines Wine Tasting Passport – Monterey’s River Road Wine Trail>
Visit each of the eight artisan vintners along Monterey’s River Road Wine Trail. Receive a souvenir glass, entry into a grand drawing, special discounts, fun, food, and celebrate all things amore. Each winery will be hosting their own wine and food pairing, specifically to suit the love surrounding Valentine’s Day.
