Paseo de Escolta is a hotel style accommodation at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, a heritage resort in Bagac, Bataan. It was named such because it is a replica of one of the hotels in Escolta, Manila. In the 1900s, Escolta was Manila's business district. And since it was considered a city center, hotels were here and there. Shops were usually set at the first floor while hotels were placed at the upper floors. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar did the exact same thing.
My friends and I stayed in a studio deluxe with loft. This is a two-floor room with two queen size beds (one at the first floor and another at the loft) and a bathroom.
This room is very spacious. While the published rate only includes 4 people, I believe it can accommodate more.
The bathroom is at the first floor. I loved it. It has clean toilet, shower, sink and bath tub. It was complete with toiletries. My favorite part is the huge mirror beside the bath tub.
I find the capiz-style window unique. It reminds me of a typical house in the province.
