Upon our late arrival past 10:00pm, we were told the rooms we had booked originally online were unavailable, the friendly staff instead gave us an upgrade at the back of the property with a view of the High Roller observation wheel. This wasn’t a big deal for us. We knew by arriving late in the evening on a weekend the chances of this happening were likely.
The rooms were fantastic! Recently renovated, the new refresh was hip and trendy, geared towards our demographic (millennials). The rooms are on the small side, but had tremendous views and fit our fast-paced style. Cozy, vibrant, and comfortable are words that come to mind.
Although the rooms were on the back side of the property, its nothing like the hike at Caesars Palace. The central location on the Strip was a huge selling point for me. The LINQ Promenade just outside with countless shops, restaurants, and bars, The Flamingo directly next door with Caesars Palace across the street, The LINQ Hotel & Casino is one of the premier locations for an affordable rate in Las Vegas.
The newly renovated pool just opened, but as luck would have it, the temperature never got warm enough to enjoy it. From what people told us, it’s really nice! We enjoyed grabbing cocktails on multiple occasions at the trendy 3535 lounge located in the lobby. It’s the only infusion bar in Las Vegas and has an awesome happy hour menu full of specialty cocktails that are delicious!
The gaming floor is open with all the usual targets. The Tag Sports Bar features awesome craft beer alongside electronic games like Blackjack and Roulette. The selection and service made this one of our favorite spots to play any time of day.
Before checking out, the desk printed our boarding passes, grabbed our bags, and helped usenjoy a few final hours before heading out. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff really stood out. I know these are traits that should be found at any hotel in Las Vegas, but it left a good impression.
