Kernow Timetable confusion

If you read the last Cornwall Transit earlier this week you will be aware of the confusion around some of the First Kernow routes which may or may not be changing this weekend. Well we have now had a notice on First Kernows Facebook…

Winter timetable - Service changes in September.

From Sunday 3rd September there will be changes to the timetables for the following services:
25 Fowey - Newquay
55/55A Camelford - Bodmin
95/96 Wadebridge - Bude

From Monday 11th September there will be changes to service
101 St Austell - Eden

From Sunday 17th September the main winter changes will start.
These will be detailed in a separate post.

Full details and timetables will be available on the First Kernow website.

So lets go to the FK web site and see what's there shall we?

So we select News and Service updates from the top menu then we have a choice..

News and service updates?

There is a link in the middle box - but that goes straight back to the Facebook page which tells you to go to the web site!

So Current Issue?

Nope nothing there

Now Planned changes

- that's where I would expect to find things…

Oh dear - no matching articles - but we know there should be!

News -

gets you the same message.

So back to Facebook and I see that they have added in a link further down their original post

and this link

If you try to search for timetables such as the 95/96 you get the old timetables which appear to be valid until mid September!

but Facebook tells us they change this weekend.

The 25 changing was a new one to me - the VOSA notice has only just appeared online so was not known when Cornwall Transit 70 was produced. However don't look for anything on FK site just yet

It shouldn't have to be this difficult!

Hopefully over the next few days all the info will become clear - or some people trying to get to work / school on Monday could be in for a shock if their timetable has changed!
