Richmond International Raceway, known as America’s Premier Short Track, annually hosts two NASCAR Doubleheader weekends featuring the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, on a ¾-mile D-Shaped oval.
The 2016 schedule features races April 22-24 for the ToyotaCare 250 and the Toyota Owners 400 as well as the September 9th Xfinity Series Race and the September 10th Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race, showcasing Racing Perfection “under the lights.” The track becomes the 8th largest “city” in the Commonwealth of Virginia on NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race days, with approximately 100,000 on the track’s property.
