Kayaking Annapolis

The more I get to know the city of Annapolis, the more I am impressed with it.  It is a city with a small town flavor.  There is American history, Naval history and lots of festivals.  Who would have thought it was also a Great Place to kayak?   There are countless places to park you car and drop a kayak, water board or canoe into the water.  The following videos are just a few of the countless spots.

Spa Creek:
Action Cove

Lafayette Park

South River:

Quiet Waters park rents kayaks, canoes, water boards and peddle boats for about $20/hr.  It's a great place to try out the sports.  It is also a place where you can bring your own.  The cove is a favorite over nighter for power boats and sailboats.

Church Creek:

Homefarm Park is free to use.  You have to drive across the crass for a long distance to get to teh parking area.  There are no bathroom facilities.
