Assam Laksa And Lemak Laksa At My Own Cafe, Penang

FOODIE TIME.... Since it was a day trip, we wanted to try more food by sharing out our portions.  If each of us take a full Bowl each, then we would not be able to try other varieties... LOL... now at our senior age, I guess our tummies have shrunk a bit.  I get full very easily but if I do more walking after eating, then I can be able to tuck in more.  That was what we did after we had our breakfast along Perak Road....
We ordered three bowls of their Classic Hokkien noodles special.... added ingredients...
One bowl is missing cos we could not sit together as 4 persons due to SOP...
Anyway, we shared out the noodles for breakfast....
Then we drove to Lebuh Cannon...
Even though it was a Sunday, there was no crowd...
I guess people are still skeptical going around places...
First time I see Penang in her quiet state...
We walked around the area...
That was where I bought my doggie stuff....
We stopped here for our break...
My Own Cafe...
This is the owner... who mentioned that he paid RM2K to have his picture painted in the shop..
We were their first customers... I guess...
We had the whole shop to ourselves....
This is really the best time to visit Penang on a weekend...
Now no crowd, no queue, easy parking...
We ordered one bowl of Assam Laksa....
And a bowl of Lemak Laksa...
Both were equally good even though they taste differently....
I have bookmarked this shop for future laksa-ing... LOL...
And two glasses of mixed fruit juice plus 6 springrolls which I have forgotten to take picture!
Oh no, I cannot call myself a Food Blogger now... LOL...
After our Laksa tasting, we dropped by at the Kuih Culture
along Kimberley Street for some desserts...
I did not take pictures in this place at all...
Confirmed... cannot say I am food blogger liow!
