FROM QUEENSBAY MALL BACK TO THE HOTEL ROOM TO FRESHEN UP FOR Countdown TO 2017 AT Straits Quay...  I have not been to Straits Quay for a long while, even my favourite restaurant Delicious is no more operating.  The last time I went, business was very brisk, we have to wait half an hour to get seated.  Hmmmm.....

Before the countdown, we went for dinner, my girl opted for Thai food and we went to Thai Baiyok along Lorong Selamat.  It was our second time there... With tummies filled, we proceeded to Gurney Mall, it was still early and we walked for a couple of hours for the sake of digestion.  By the time we reached Straits Quay, it was after 10pm..... The crowd was milling in by then.... somehow, we managed to get a parking and walked around a bit before the Countdown began.  I have never been to any countdown like this before.. first time in history... normally I spend my 31st December in the house watching TV but this year was pretty different... I Was Actually At The Scene!
