There are many different ways of exploring the southern part of Florida. So if you are looking for options in Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, you have come to the right place. This is an area that my family and I really enjoy when we come for a visit. You can find a ton of attractions in South Florida.
4 Things to do in South Florida
Palm Beach Zoo
This zoo is home to over 400 animals from all over the world. You can see beautiful, weird, and scary animals from Asia, Australia, Africa, South and Central America from a safe distance. They also have exhibits with some of the most endangered species in florida and in the world, plus conservation programs for them.
Catamaran tour
“Visit Palm Beach”, is a company that offers water sports tours along the waterways of South Florida. They offer jet skis for rental, snorkeling tours, kayaking equipment and a private sailing charter in their ‘Hakuna Matata’ catamaran. There is also the option of choosing their family package for a day of fun, it includes: snorkeling, kayaking, jet ski rental.
Palm Beach Segway Tours
These guys offer segway rental. The Segways are little vehicles with two wheels that you drive standing up. You can take these along the waterways or to the historical center of West Palm Beach. If you prefer, you can take a guided and narrated 2 hour tour through the city, over the bridge and along the waterfront. There is also a 1-hour tour, this one is a lot faster and focuses more on the excitement of riding a Segway.
National Croquet Center
It is a big, elegant, 10 acre place dedicated only to croquet in West Palm Beach. In the place you can find a 19,000 square foot clubhouse. Their 12 full-size croquet lawns are paradise for everyone who loves to play croquet.
