Village Buki – a small locality situated 12 km to the north of the district center Skvira, Kiev Oblast and has about 600 residents. Even in the 11-13 centuries there were first settlements.
Perhaps Buki would remain one of the many small villages in the Kiev region, nothing notable, if not the activities of the ukrainian businessman Ivan Suslov. He cleared the river Rastavitsu and on its banks broke landscaped park with towers and retaining walls, bridges, fountains and waterfalls, organized a small zoo, built a hydroelectric power plant.
