The Amsterdam Lights Festival

The “Festival”-bit of the title “Amsterdam Lights Festival” is a bit of a misnomer, because when it comes down to it, it’s basically a bunch of light Installations around the center of the city: starting at Amsterdam Centraal, following the Herengracht, around, and back to Amsterdam Centraal again. A thin red line shows where you need to go this year, as it’s also one of the installations.

It’s really cool though: especially in the dark months (it’s already dark at 17:00 at this time of the year), and each piece is unique. And every year it’s completely different. These photos are the ones I found:
