Burning Man has become synonymous with creativity. Every year social media is inundated with countless amazing scenes, captured by the worlds leading photographers and videographers. I thought I had seen the best of it, I was clearly wrong. Burning Moments Part II has flipped everything I had seen on it’s head, and it’s spectacular!
Ari Fararooy shot several stunning pictures of fellow desert dwellers and he then decided to animate the photos, creating a wholly new visually experience. The video complete with a soundtrack of him playing a Chopin piece is something truly unique and mind-blowing.
Ari had this to say about the project, “This past year was my second Burning Man in a row, and once again my mind was fucking blown'”
“For my video project, I decided to use all of my 2015 photos, as well as some of my 2014 photos, and bring them to life through the experimental technique of digital animation. My photographs illustrate my surreal experiences at the festival, often using my imagination to alter reality.”
You can see his still photos below.
