On the 06^th April I was photographing the wedding of Karen & John. The service was held at the St Marys Church, Gosforth followed by the reception at the wonderful Westlakes Hotel. For anybody planning their wedding day in West Cumbria I would suggest going along to the Westlakes Hotel at Gosforth for a look around.

Geoff & Debra, who own and run the hotel, are very passionate about their business and this shows with the attention to detail, care and service shown in every wedding.

As always, I ask the couple a few questions about their wedding day and hope that the answers will help future bride and grooms. Below are Karen’s answers.

1.          Who made your dress and where did you get it from?

I got my dress from a little wedding boutique called Catherine Mae Bridal.

2.          What accessories did you wear?

Tia by Benjamin Roberts.

3.          What suits did the grooms man wear and where were they from?

John and the ushers wore a 5 piece suit from Greenwoods.

4.          What suppliers would you recommend?

I would Recommend Catherine Clarke at Cathys cupcakes who did our fantastic cakes.

5.          Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went away for two weeks 1st to Monte Carlo then Lake Garda then finally to Venice.

6.          Any advice to other couples?

The only advice we would give is to make a little time for each other on the day and to try and take every moment in as it goes so fast.
