Decorating With Minted

The best part of moving into a new space is hands down the Decorating process — it's so much fun to envision a new space and how to fill it, and then run around town looking for those perfect little items and nick nacks to add the finishing touches... well, let's just say it's been my favourite form of cardio lately. So when Minted approached me to help decorate my office and new home, I couldn't believe my luck — I've long admired their impressive assortment of fine art and photography prints, and proceeded to spend the next three days scrolling through their sizeable collection trying to narrow down my picks... easier said than done!  (Above: 'White and Black Vapor 2 Series 4' by Angela Simeone)

While I love all the prints we chose, I think 'Staredown' and 'Minimalist Sea' are by far my favourites, as Mr. AiF and I chose them together and they now hang in our (still incredibly empty) bedroom... I think Meows likes them, too! While we continue to plug away at our new home, I'll leave it here, but full room tours to come, and hopefully sooner rather than later... hey man, it's a process. Until then, happy Friday, and I'll leave you with this one last piece of wisdom (ha!) before I go — if you're also in the process of decorating and putting up artwork, and are in need of frames, I have one word for you: Ikea. Go forth and prosper, friends. xx
