Everyday is Earth Day at THE KNOTS. Our Rugs are a conscious celebration of the environment, and bringing one of our rugs into your home brings a little bit of the Earth with it.

Here are some reasons why our rugs are Earth friendly:

Sustainability
Each of our rugs have a story, and many have withstood the test of time. Our vintage rugs are a living testament to quality, preserving history while creating new memories in your own home. We have salvaged many of our vintage rugs and given them a new life by restoring them to their original colours or updating the design with natural dyes. 

Handicraft
Our rugs are all unique, one-of-a-kind, and handmade. We honor the indigenous peoples and their skills, knotting rugs one-by-one and putting their unique touches into their work. Our newest kilim rugs are produced by women in their own homes, so they can watch their children while also providing an income for their family. 

Natural Materials
Rugs, throws, pillows -- every product at THE KNOTS is created using natural fibres such as wool and hemp. And by using natural dyes, our vintage rugs are upcycled, so the impact is minimal on the environment.
