Dramatic New Building in Kazakhstan Mirrors The Country’s Flag

Fundamental Architects has a bold vision for a new building in the city of Nursultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. The plan calls for the building to span the river, suspended atop it, with a giant hole cut out of the building’s middle, to mirror the look of the Kazakhstan flag. Called Tower of the Sun, the impressive design looks to add character to the city, formerly known as Astana, home to over a million residents. Via Dezeen:
