In the tabletting process, the user must frequently inspect the quality of the punch dies. If defects such as cracks, chipped edge and deformation are found, the punch dies should be replaced in time, so as to avoid damage to the machine and affect the quality of the tablet. The remaining particles or powder should be removed after daily use, and all parts of the machine should be wiped clean. If the machine is left unused for a long time, the punch die should be disassembled, and the friction surface and the working surface of the machine should be cleaned and coated with anti-rust oil. The whole machine should be wrapped by the dust-proof cover. After being wiped clean, the punch die should be preserved in the oil. It’s recommended that there should be a tooling box specially for keeping the punch dies to prolong its service life. The tablet press requires at least two inspections per month.
