10. North West

Let’s start out with a relatively mild one. North is the child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West and fits right in with the Hollywood culture of weird Baby names. People joked about it endlessly when word first broke.

The thing about this one is that it’s the combination of names that makes it strange. North could potentially work if your last name was anything but West.

The thing about naming your kid is that you have to consider how it will affect their lives. If you name them something that might get them bullied, they may justifiably blame you.

9. Jed I Knight

Although somewhat odd, this name is also kind of clever. The joke doesn’t work unless the middle initial is involved.

If the kid goes by Jed and doesn’t talk about his middle name, which doesn’t come up that much in conversation, anyway, he may not have any trouble.

All the same, it might be better not to take the risk.

8. Goldenpalace.com Silverman

Probably one of the most ill-conceived ideas ever, an online casino shelled out fifteen grand to name a baby after itself. Obviously, people weren’t so thrilled about the idea and quickly condemned it.

Let’s hope this kid or their parents changed the name in the years since. Also, a word to companies out there. Unless you’re Dick’s Sporting Goods or Trader Joe’s, don’t try to have a baby named after you.

7. Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com

Back in 2005, a young activist named Chris Garnett legally changed his name to Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com as a way to protest animal abuse by the chain. He promised that he would change it back once PETA’s campaign against KFC was over.

Given some of the more recent news about PETA, he might have wanted to hold off on that.

6. Bud Light

As proven by a news report, Bud Light is an actual citizen of the United States. It may be best to give his parents the benefit of the doubt, but let it serve as a cautionary tale. Do some research before naming your baby.

It’s okay to join a fandom, but there are better ways to express your love for it.

4. Donald Duck

Not only is this a really weird and unfortunate name, but it seems to be somewhat common. After all, Donald is a pretty common name, but people seem to not think it through sometimes.

Honestly, there’s just not a lot that can be said about this one. The worst part is that the guy was actually born with a normal name, but changed it to this.

2. Nicholas Unless-Jesus-Christ-Had-Died-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned Barbon

Living through most of the latter half of the 17th century, this guy was actually a pretty significant figure in London’s history. He was responsible for inventing fire insurance after the Great London fire. He was also a bit of a Renaissance man, billing himself as both a doctor and quite the expert in money matters.

Just goes to show that a bad name can’t keep a good man down.

1. Batman Bin Suparman

Born in Singapore, this man holds one of the most famously-weird names ever. He has gone through life with the names of two superheroes. The only question is, is this really awesome, or really dumb?
