Umm…I’m sure at least seven.
You know how many I completed? The round shape number with a black hole hidden in its white shiny surface…ahem…ZERO.
I was livid about my Procrastination while eating a large pizza last night. How could I do this? Given my anger hadn’t relented, I washed down my meal with 4 Gulab Jamuns.
And, after wrapping up my meal, I thought of using my pent-up anger to drive some serious goal kicking action. So I immediately jumped into bed and started thinking why we procrastinate. Does it ever help? Could there be a silver lining?
This led me to find out that mild dose of procrastination is actually good.Confirmation bias, eh?
I found out that the world wouldn’t have heard “I have a dream” speech if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. hadn’t procrastinated.
What!? Yes! Unreal, right? I know. Even Steve Jobs was known as an epic Procrastinator.

How to use mild procrastination to produce great work
Just to make procrastinator’s case strong, here’s an interesting case study – How Leonardo Da Vinci used it to paint Mona Lisa.
So, once you develop faith in your procrastinator alter-ego, you can go watch Adam Grant’s famous TED Talk where he tells why he taught himself to be a mild procrastinator.
Wait…It’s really not that great in the Procrastination Land
I know the above TED talks got your eyes and ears, but wait! You can’t procrastinate forever. Sure it can boost your creativity a little but learn how to beat procrastination if you are always caught up in an endless lazy loop.
You could use the Eat that frog technique or the very famous Pomodoro Technique to keep the procrastinator guilt at bay.
So anything due anytime soon? Maybe, waiting a few days might help. Or, maybe not Whatever level of procrastination you choose, just don’t become a chronic procrastinator.
