Bameys Nepal

I was here after watching the movie in PVR forum, this place is walkable from there and one can reach in ten minutes. I came to know about this cafe by one of my Food blogger friends, Rachit. I wanna give the credits to him as the experience was very good.  It is a small joint and it has few wall hangings showing the Pashupathinatha temple of Nepal. Hand drawn “Buddha is born in Nepal” painting, a map showing their travel from Nepal to bangalore, a notice board showing the winners of “Spiciest MOMO Challenge”, Cute lil baskets hanging on reception desk and seperate place of low seating dining. Inetriors are simple and cool and sanitation is ok ok.

I ordered a Veg Dimsum Platter and 1/2 Sweet Sour Soup, a Veg Takali (thali)

Dimsum Platter is very filling and has 12 diffrent varities of Momos, containing Steam fries, Fried, Kothey and Chilly momos. Chutneys are the real taste of eating momos.

Sweet and Sour soup was good and tasty.

Veg thakali: Nepalese thali contains, rice, Spicy dal made of Urad dal, Spiced pan-fried Boiled Potato, Potato Masala with a lot of spices. Onion Cucumber Salad, Cooked Green Leafy vegetable Curry,  Papad, Curd, Radish pickle. This is very tasty and filling. Food was fresh and happy. Dal made difference to the taste buds. Food was enough hot and spicy.

One need to ring the bell to call the waiters. Sanitation need to be little improvised.

Overall good hot and spicy experience.

My Ratings:
