Capsicum fry is a good side dish in a meal with rice and also chapathi or pulka.It takes very less time to cook and also very flavorful dish.So it is used as your lunch box also because it takes less time to prepare. Children also like this Recipe because by adding those powders also this recipe is very healthy and hygienic food.
I ate this type of capsicum fry for the first time in my friend house.When i ate this recipe i felt good and tasty later i asked them about the process.Later i came to my home cook this recipe and serve to my family.All my family members praises me a lot so guys try this recipe and put your opinion as a comment.
- Chana dhal-1 tbsp
- Urad dhal-1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds-1/2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tbsp
- Currry leaves,oil
- pappula podi,Dry coconut red chilli powder,Salt
- Red chilies-2
- Turmeric powder
Cut onion,tomato,capsicum into long pieces which is shown in images and keep aside.
Heat oil in a wide bottomed pan add chana dhal,urad dhal,cumin seeds, mustard seeds,red chilies fry for sometime while mustard seeds spluttering add curry leaves.
Now add capsicum,tomato,onion pieces into it mix well add a pinch of turmeric powder again mix it well.
Cover and cook on a low flame after some time add required salt mix it again.Close the lid and check it regular intervals of time until capsicum pieces become soft.
Now add dry coconut red chili powder ,pappula podi into it Stir it well till a nice aroma comes out and finally switch off the flame.
Finally hot hotn capsicum fry is ready to serve with hot rice and also with dollop of ghee.
